   if the concrete is already in place:

   cover with exterior floor tile;
   u can paint the surface and seal;
   cover with an out door carpet;

   concrete stain is not that hard and easy on the budget. It can be very simple or very decorative, up to you. Take a look at these pictures to see if you and your hubby think it’s what will add some life to that dull gray patio
